Review summary
First time on Grandeur . Not the mega liners but we enjoy the smaller vessels. This crew was the most friendly, excited and willing to please of any of the 16 cruises we have taken(I have never had a bad cruise or crew). They seemed to enjoy their jobs if that is possible. Two & 1/2 days at same port makes it a little more hectic. Bermuda is beautiful but expensive & still owned by Britain. The US Dollar is commonly used as well as the Bermuda dollar of the same value. No need to buy local currency. Food was acceptable but not to par of some other cruises except for the two specialty we did which was exceptional(Chops& Izumi). Dinner ok but meats were dry and overcooked. Buffet the same, and selection not great. All was not bad but not as good as we have had. Entertainment below other trips although second comedian very good. We dance a lot and found the dance venue in the back of the ship was only used twice while the centrum area with a small marble floor was used dailey. Both nights we had the band to ourselves while the lesser of the two bands played in the centrum. I think they need to reconcider the use of this room as it is mostly used for Bingo and art auctions. and kareoke. Overall a very nice cruise. Not 5 star but close.Ship experiences
