Review summary

A great weather experience really made this an awesome trip. We had great views of the glaciers and good excursions in the ports of call. The ship had some wonky design features, but we had good service/

Embarkation

4 out of 5
The cruise check in was great, the US Customs part was not. Since we were leaving Canada for the US we had to immigrate. Long lines and not enough reps.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Service was a little slow and the food a little odd sometimes. But it was a great value for the price.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Not alot of activities on the ship. Instead of having multiple options each hour you had 1. But since you were sailing past some excellent view points, we spent alot of time outside watching the mountains go by.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The shows and entertainers were good, but no enough musicians. You pretty much had only 1 place for music at any one time. No concurrent offerings in multiple venues.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Staff was friendly.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Layout was poor. The indoor pool was filled with cold air because it was open to the outside 24/7, so really not an indoor pool because the took the doors off. One dining room was inaccessible except from 1 specific stairwell/elevator area. In order to walk to the show place you had to pass by the cigar lounge, very smelly. Otherwise all areas were clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a clear view despite the obstruction. Cabin was clean.

Ship tip

Afternoon tea is a 3 in the Dining room. It is not clearly stated what is going on at 3-4 on the patter, but it is tea.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Great small port, very easy to get off the ship.
