A Delightful Cruise

Sail Date: March 10, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

The Grand Princess needs some TLC. Our friends in stateroom C637 could not go out on their balcony for a day and had to store their deck furniture in their stateoom because their deck had some soltion put down on the morning we boarded the ship.

Pros: Just getting away for 7 days on a cruise

Cons: Our dinner head waiter

Recommends Grand Princess? No.

Food and Dining
The food was nothing to write home about. Just average unless you want to pay to go to Sabatini's or Crown Grill.
Cabin / Stateroom
Staterooms are always a little small but we like the larger decks. We had 6 connecting staterooms and it always great to open he doors between the staterooms on deck and walk from room to room.
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Ship Quality
Never did like the layout of the Botticelli dining room. Have to take the back elevators to get to deck 6 where the dining room is and then up to deck 7 and go to the middle of the ship to go down to the casino. Poor layout.
