7 Night Southern Caribbean (Ft. Lauderdale Roundtrip)
Sail Date: January 21, 2012
Ship: Grand Princess
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 5 years ago
The entertainment level (Lido Deck) was a little small so that there were not many parties or well-attended activities there. Otherwise, ship was very comfortable, lots of amenities, and excellent service from the staff.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Excellent all across the ship from pizza and hamburgers to formal nighttime dining.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Didn't do much during the day on the "entertainment deck;" DJ didn't show up one day; moved a scheduled movie indoors to accommodate seniors; only one performance of show two evenings that didn't jive with late dining schedule and people were left without seats.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Lido Deck entertainment area was small.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5

Pros: All food in all environs was excellent

Cons: Too many of the activities accommodated senior cruisers
