Review summary

When we booked this trip we were told the ship went through a recent refurbishment. What that means is partially refurbished. The hot tubs did not function properly, jets did not work and they were cold. Paint and caulk peeling inside of them. Kids jammed the areas and neither security, kids security or customer service did anything about it. The customer service staff while friendly handles complaints poorly, does not get back to you and is basically incompetent. Three times we complained at office until we were even contacted by managers who simply stated they will contact the corp office. Not one person ever tried to fix the problem.

Service and Staff

Customer service is not in the service business. They do not handle complaints in a timely manner nor do they fix the problem. They will try to get you in private room so other customers will not hear you complain. Ageneral lack of non concern. We booked to cabins on this ship -- total 5 people, and while we were dissatisfied with the Grand we were open minded to try another Newer Princess ship for 10 days - 2 cabins next November -- That was until the general lack of care and professionalisim kicked in. The staff on board the Grand was anything but!
