The food and service were excellent and so were the shows. The Pacific Princess (the old Love Boat) has been sold, so they won't be sailing out of New York next summer. But Princess should improve the embarkation out of New York. With my husband in a wheelchair, it was horrendous. We boarded the Galaxy out of Baltimore and it was wonderful. Disembarkation in New York on the Grand Princess went smoothly. My last trip out of New York didn't go as well. It is easier to fly to Miami. Our trip was 8/4 to 8/11 2002.
