Review summary

Overall, the ship was a floating palace! It was very elegant and well planned. The decor was tasteful as a whole although some of the furnishings need replacement.

Great food, great service. Selection was outstanding. The formal Dining Rooms provided excellent food selections and service that you seldom get on land.

Entertainment

Recreation staff were great - I don't know how they could keep up the pace. The entertainment was absolutely the best!

Service and Staff

The room steward was exceptional and did a great job. With the exception of getting the bathroom fixed, the staff were phenomenal.

Ship Quality

Public areas kept very clean. Public areas were very accommodating and welcomed you to just sit and enjoy the cruise. The pools were fantastic.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room size was okay. The bed was absolutely in need of replacement and the drawers were difficult to open and close. We did have a problem with the bathroom which took way too long to get fixed. Other than that, it was good.

Ports of call

Ensenada, Mexico

We toured the old casino which was great. We then went to the "Blow Hole" which was somewhat distressing - you have to run a gauntlet of vendors who were excessively aggressive. If you survive that run, it was great to see the rest of Ensenada.

Don't Miss: Great opportunity at the old casino to purchase unique items at a very reasonable price.

Don't Miss: The Botanical Garden was really interesting.

Pros: The entertainment, pools, and excellent customer focus

Cons: Bed was uncomftable and pillows were worse.
