Very disappointed with the overall experience. Would not use Royal Caribbean for another cruise. Cruise staff was not prepared for bad weather. ( shows, food,etc.). Cruise line realized we would be in bad weather conditions, but chose to sail anyway.

poor ventallation in the casino, smoke horrible. The crew was outstanding the way they handled the rocking of the ship and the rolling of the dishes off the tables

This was our third time on the Explorer of the Seas and love leaving from Bayonne, NJ.

Well kept and clean

The best cruise we have taken food and service were exceptional.Lovely ship ,clean no complaints.

Very clean, we loved the fact that the staff claening crews were constantly ensuring boat clean and tidy. Rooms, bathrooms, pools restaurants were kept spotless. I have to mention the male member of staff at the Windjammer restaurant who constantly and consistently reminded clients to wash their hands with Purell. Public health is obviously a big issue on a boat and this man is awsome at his job. A real credit to your company, I am so sorry I did not get his name. I have to make special mention to our state room attendant Elizabeth Datuin, and our waitor and waitress Melbert Fernandes and Anna Torres, they were all remarkable at their jobs, attentive, friendly never forgot to smile. Would assist my elderly mother with so much kindness , and patiently answered all of our questions. If they did not know the answer to a question, they would find out and have an answer within 5 minutes - tops. Anna and Melbert cut my mother's food up for her as she has arthritis. Poured out our drinks unbidden and kept them topped up. You have an amazing staff named and unnamed , they are a true credit to your organization. Also want to mention Richard Spacey [entertainment director and his staff. They have boundless energy and make so many people happy. The entertainment staff is tireless and very enterprising in their entertainment and ability to relate to all types of clients

Overall experiences were very good. We handled our own luggage upon boarding and debarking without any issues.

The ship is large enough so you didn't feel boxed in but small enough to get around with ease.

8th cruise, first on RCCL, previously on Carnival and Celebrity. For the price this was a very good trip. Good variety of food at both the breakfast and lunch buffets. Dinner was also very good as they were launching a new menu with several of the executive chefs on board. Very clean and modern common areas. No pressure to buy alcohol from the deck staff. Good shows, especially the ice show. A couple of draw backs: Staterooms are very tired, but clean. No "extra" ammenities in the room upon arrival, pre-ordered "gifts" were late. Windjammer was often very busy with limited seating. No easy to get to open air seats to dine outside. Will go RCCL again.

Amazing time. Lots of fun, good food, wonderful crew.

State rooms need up grades for sure...rest of ship, beautiful

had a great time, went for my 60th birthday staff was friendly and aimed only to please took my sister niece and myself and my husband.

The ship was wonderful there was a lot of room for everything we brought with us in the staterooms. The shows were outstanding. Our Wait staff was the best on the ship; we could not have asked for a better wait staff for the 5:30 my time dining. Antonio and Johncey were the best. Loved my spa treatment. The royal promenade was so lovely. The night party at the pool was ok. They need to space the shows out better because the party times crossed so you miss over half of the second party. This is twice I have been on Royal Caribbean and gone to the night poolside party and both ships ran out of chicken wings within a half hour of the party so not everyone in line gets to try them. They need to have more of what people really like and stop wasting so much on the fruit displays no one was eating. The specials at the stores were great. Picked up lots of gifts. Even the slot machines were paying out. We have very bad weather only one day of sun and that was the first day on the island. We had 10 to 12 foot waves; they shut the outside decks down because it was too dangerous. Other then the weather and the wedding package that was provided which was really, really bad. The ship overall was great.

The ship was built around 2000 and needs to modernize

Rudeness of the staff on the dock in Bayonne. (I wouldn't want that job, but people are on vacation and it's a service industry). The ship was nice, the golf and the skating were cool, but the shows and the food were way below expectation. The food and entertainment are better on the Princess Cruise line.

After having taken several cruises this was by far the best! The food, entertainment and service were exceptional. Wouldn't even consider a different cruiseline! Way to go Royal Caribbean!
