Overall, my first cruise was a great experience!

Embarkation

While embarkation was decent, it was delayed almost two hours. We were told that it was a customs issue with the incoming cruise before us. Not enough employees.

Food and Dining

There was literally like one working Coca Cola machine. It was in the promenade. The 4 in the windjammer were always turned off or out of order. And when asking at the bar, staff was not very kind about giving out soda. There were no other options besides getting it from the bars.

Onboard Activities

We chose the late dining. Being my first cruise, I did not want to miss any shows/activities that would be at say, 6 pm. Well now I know better. We literally missed everything not getting out of dinner until after 10pm some nights.

Ship tip

Get the drink package! Best choice we ever made. And choose the early dining.

Welcome to the world of cruising. Thank you for sharing your review. I am glad you enjoyed your cruise. We have been on a mix of 3 Royal Caribbean and 5 Carnival cruises and enjoyed them all. We usually choose the early dining for that exact reason but may try the my time dining next.

Thanks four the review in a cruise vacations you will learn a lot also from mistakes especially rookies, that's okay everyone have been through that.. Is better a early dining or my time dining
