Excellent cruise

Sail Date: June 18, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Balcony

A very enjoyable cruise. It rained the 1st day out at sea(and most nites the weather could have been more cooperative), which put a damper on the start of the cruise. The next 3 days, however, could have not been better. The oceanview balcony room could have been a bit larger(there were 3 of us in 1 room). The 2nd couple we were traveling with was my son & his fiance. I booked their room, a 'guaranteed inside stateroom', a little less than a week after mine. There could have been a bit more effort in trying to place them closer to us. Instead their room was on the complete opposite end of the ship. I was very disappointed.

Pros: Everything on board was wonderful

Cons: Traveled with another couple & their cabin was on the opposite end of the ship

Recommends Explorer of the Seas? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
The size of our oceanview balcony cabin could have been a bit larger(we had 3 people in the room). And, my older son & his fiance were in a inside cabin which could have closer to us
