Review summary

This was our first cruise on The Royal Carribean's Explorer of the Seas and both my husband and I were extremely taken with everything about the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We particularly enjoyed our experience at the specialty restaurant PORTIFINO. Food and service were excellent in all restaurants and dining areas.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The ice show was great and the shows in the Palace theater were excellent and enjoyable.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was most helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and pleasure.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We were particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the public areas. The layout and size of the ship made getting around easy and uncrowded.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We were in an owner's suite and were overwhelmed by the size and amenities. Comfortable King size bed and beautiful bedding with lots of pillows. Great deal of closet space, huge flat screen TV that swiveled to view from both sides of suite. The bathroom was huge with 2 sinks in the vanity, a shower and jacuzzi tub. It was spotless and located very conveniently in the center of the ship.

Pros: Our Suite on the Ship was Magnificent

Cons: Loved everything about the ship. Nothing missing.
