Review summary

Puerto Rico is not a good port of call. If you have been there once you have seen it all.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We are Platinum on another cruise line and decided to give Princess (Enchanted Princes) a try. The food is top notch, from the massive buffet, to the specialty restaurants. We are serious, the buffet is so good we preferred to eat there instead of the MDR. The buffet is about 4 aisles with food on both sides! The crew is very attentive as well.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We are accustomed to more activities, but it wasn’t bad overall.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The stage shows were awesome! Although there was a comedy and magic show in the theatre which was very good, we do miss the comedy clubs that other cruise lines, like Carnival has. We also greatly miss the “rowdy” join in and sing and cut up piano bars on Carnival.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff is too notch! All well dressed and polite and ready to take care of you.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is beautiful and superbly maintained. It is a 4 year old ship but looks brand new. No stains on the carpet and I never saw rust or rust stains on the ship!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
A Mini-Suite located on deck 15, port side, forward of mid-ship. Clean and comfortable! The dual curtains in the Mini-Suite allows for you to darken the room to almost blackout. Our cabin looked brand new!

Ship tip

Book Main Dinning Room times early.

Glad everything met your expectations. But I love San Juan! Just to stroll the streets and find a little cantina and while away the day is very good

I walked to El Morro from the cruuse port, explored the fort and walked back which took me almost the entire time in port. My next time there, I went to the fort near cruise port. I feel at least 3-4 visits to that pirt would be needed to see everything worth seeing. Here is a tip if visiting the forts.....Puerto Rico is a US territory, so if you have a National Park pass, it will be accepted there.

From your profile, you’re on this cruise now and not finished until the 10th. Glad you are enjoying though.
