Great Cruise

Sail Date: May 12, 2007

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

The food, service and menu selection at the Carmen were fantastic. I enjoyed the waiters (say hi to Gilbert and Wesley!) who were so much fun to interact with. The children's program was also fantastic and gave my wife the break that she really needed. The ship was clean and although older had all the amenities.

Pros: The fantasic menus and service

Cons: Leaving the ship!

Recommends Empress of the Seas (RETIRED) 223? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Smaller than some, but again fantastic service.
Ship Quality
Older but spotless! Smaller ship which has its own charm.
Most of the time Main seating was overcrowded and some people stood up and second seating was half empty. Need to spread the folks out.
Food and Dining
Service and Staff
Again, everyone was very friendly and accomodating.
Children's Programs
St. George's, Bermuda
Don't Miss: Everything!
Hamilton, Bermuda
Wonderful fun post with shopping right there.
Don't Miss: The gardens with a view of ship.
