Review summary

A one day cruise is pretty much over before it starts so the experience can't really be compared to longer cruises. Having said that, if you know what to expect, it can be a good quick getaway for a good price. Expect fewer activities and food that isn't quite the normal standard but enjoy the experience and make the most of the one night.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was fast and efficient; however, we did arrive very early so I'm not sure if it got busier later.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was okay but I don't think it is up to the usual standard or longer Princess cruises. The drinks were good.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Because this was a one night cruise, there wasn't the same number activities as on a longer cruise. However, the activities that they did have were fun and well done.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The Disco production show was great. The band at the sail away party was also good and a lot of fun.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The staff and service was friendly and efficient.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship's design is good and it is kept clean. It is just starting to show wear in some places.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was small, but that is expected in an inside room. Everything was functional and it was clean.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarkation was very smooth and quick.

Ok. Interesting added traveling, but for a one day escape, and a cruise credit, I get it. Thanks for the info.

I took the bus to Seattle and cruised home to Vancouver. Another time I cruised to Seattle and took the Amtrak train home to Vancouver.

Since one-day, port to different port, do you rent a one-way rental? Have someone race along the ship on the coast and pick you up? How do you get home???
