invalid-22767 Sail Date: February 25, 2013 Ship:Emerald Princess Cabin Type: Inside Traveled As: Couple Reviewed: 5 years ago
Several aspects of this cruise were good, namely: the room steward was extremely attentive; the cabin was well laid-out, everything on-board was organized.
Now for the less than expected: the food, particularly the beef was not of great quality, this was even in the steak house where one paid extra; lots of items on the menu, but very few that on could say that was great; ordered Chilean sea bass one night and was served cod (I am a fisherman and yes, do know the difference); they closed the casino at 01:00 hours; the buffet style breakfast was not well organized and the placement of the various items changed daily; the price of the drinks on board was outrageous, $6.50 for a beer, 9.49 for a Margarita.
This was my first and last Princess cruise, will choose one of the other lines in the future....
