we also sailed the Caribbean Princess in 2007 but enjoyed the layout of the Emerald - easier to get around. Embarked just after Christmas and the atmosphere on board was excellent - xmas decorations were still up so everyone was in a fantastic mood. great new year's eve party everywhere on the ship that you didn't know where you wanted to be but best was on top deck watching the 20 minute fireworks display off the coast of Curaao.
