Had an amazing time on my first Disney cruise. 🙂 🥳
Embarkation
3 out of 5
The system getting everyone into the terminal was very disorganized. Each staff person I spoke to gave me different directions about where to go. The part that was most confusing was the lack of direction about the lines for the check in times. There was only one line and everyone was in it no matter their check in time, even though there were signs for the different times. And there were people in the line whose times weren’t for hours later.
Finally, the woman trying to monitor the line started handing out tickets to everyone whose time had passed to get in the terminal. This was after she tried getting everyone with later arrival times to get out of line.
Once in the terminal it was quick and easy, it was only about 15 minutes from entering the terminal to check in, to being on the ship.
To be fair I never traveled pre covid so maybe this is the way it is when you are at the terminal. For me it is usually drop off, bags to porter, get in line and go through. Yes it can take some time, but you knew you were in the correct place with lots of signage, and people all gave the same information.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
All the food was great. I liked the rotational dinning. The atmosphere for each of the restaurants was different and fun. Breakfast and lunch in the main dinning rooms were great as well.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
I enjoy trivia games so there were plenty of those. Also the animation lessons were great. Of course meeting the Disney characters was the best. I also enjoyed the fireworks.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Loved the live shows. The performers were great. It was great to have a show each night.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone was very kind and helpful. I loved the servers in the dinning rooms. They were always great. Everyone was always willing to answer questions.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship is beautiful, I was always looking at the ships layout, but since the ship has an intimate feel I was able locate things pretty easily. The only downside is the small elevators. It was tough getting the strollers and wheelchairs in there. They keep the place clean, I always saw people wiping areas down, and sanitizing stations were on the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin was nice. For some reason the cabin seemed small. And the balcony seemed really big. For me the biggest issue was the bathroom. I am a big girl, so the bathroom was tight, but I see how it is great for families with it being split. The bed was amazing, it was really soft and comfy.
