Amazing Family Holiday

My husband and I travelled with our daughter and granddaughter for 3 days on the Disney Wonder.  From the moment we arrived we knew we were going to have a good time.   We had a 12:30 pm check in and it went fast and easy.  Our rooms were ready for us by 1:30 pm.  The 4  of us shared a ocean view room and there was plenty of room for all of us.  The food was amazing!  We ate breakfast and lunch in the Cabana buffet and dinners were in each of the 3 theme dining rooms.  During the day most of our time was spent around the pool.  There were 2 pools, both of which were fairly small.  Unfortunately, the pool with the water slide was not available during most of the cruise due to repairs.  Our 9 yr old grand daughter was disappointed.  We enjoyed our day on Castaway Cay.  The island is large, very clean and the lunch buffet was wonderful with plenty of BBQ choices.  It was nice that the picnic area is covered as it rained for a brief time.  Although, we signed my granddaughter for the group activities she spent most of her time with us.  One observation was that most of the children in the activitity centre were younger than her.  I believe the age group is 3 - 12.   We took her to the Bibity Bobity Salon to have her Hair, make up and nails done and she loved the pampering.  Unfortunately, the only appointment we could get was the same day as we were getting off the ship to go swimming on Castaway Cay.  Needless to say, her hair and make up only lasted an hour.  Disembarking the final morning was very well organized, quick and easy.
