Review summary

My son said it was the best vacation ever! First Disney cruise and wife is already planning another one. Food was great, service was awesome, activities for my 8 year old kept him highly entertained. Only downside for us were the inability to port at Grand Caymen because of weather and the port at Falmouth, Jamaica. I am sure there are awesome excursions in Jamaica but most of them were 1 hour away. We chose a shorter trip to Montego Bay and were disappointed with the beach at Doctors Cove. Perhaps it was the continued rough weather but the water was muddy and not the clear water we were expecting. I also found the drink and food prices higher than anticipated but cheaper than the cruise ship. I would also recommend Disney to review their Internet rates and Shutters charges. Perhaps they are in line with other cruise lines but it would have been nice to check in with work without having to pay $100 for the option. As for Shutters, I would have been happy to buy digital prints but not for $20 apiece. I would guess they would sell more if they considered a reduction. With that being said, they were very good about taking picture with our iPhone at the Character meetings. I would highly recommend the Disney Wonder but suggest reviewing the ports before booking.
