Disney is a Wonder

Sail Date: October 21, 2010

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Inside

I took my elderly Mother on this trip of a lifetime. And I know she will treasure it always. I liked that they had kids . She enjoyed seeing their joy and it made you feel more like a kid. It was excellent timing being pre Halloween because added to the already wonderful assortment of activities, parties and shows was a extra element of excitement with the costume aspect of the children and parents who joined in. It was always enjoyabe but when you wanted a quiet moment you walked out on the strolling deck and viewed the moon from the relaxing deck chair and recalled an elegance of days gone by.
Every need was attended to and the staff were excellent. A trip of a lifetime !

Pros: fun themed atmosphere

Cons: leaving

Recommends Disney Wonder? Yes!

Ship Quality
every effort was made to keep things cleanly and in good working order.
Food and Dining
very good mix of offerings, not overdone.
Cabin / Stateroom
Optional: The size of the staterooms was excellent. Decor was discrete but elegant and felt lush. Towels and bedding excellent. And shower amenities wonderful. And the niose in corridors was nonexistant.
Service and Staff
Helpful, happy and discreet.
Plentiful offerings. Loved the cinema and the Broadway style shows, you forgot you were on a ship. And if you did not want to participate, it did not interfere with your enjoyment !

Did not go with kids , but from what i say they were thourughly entertained and made to feel very special.
Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)
