Review summary

I loved my cruise BUT THE FOOD NOT SO MUCH!! I had heard so much that the Disney food was so great, but the food was subpar to me even the buffet was not that good and we rotated to the three different restaurants. They were not that good food for me was below Royal and Carnival. The characters were great for the kids, see, however it took at lot to be in the long lines for them. The ship is breathtaking but I would not cruise on Disney again.

To me once you did the Aqua Mouse ride there really isn’t anything else to do. I seen teens walking around bored. It’s really a ship for little kids and parents. Disney needs to put more on their ships for teens something.

Entertainment

Now this was awesome. We saw the Aladdin show and it was so good my grandson loved it. The production quality and the show was awesome and based on this show people probably feel like the whole she is a vibe but no.

We had an ocean view cabin and at first I wasn’t sure I would like it, however it turned out to be a great room. We could look out each day and my grandson loved it. I loved the two rooms for the bathroom one for the toilet and another for the shower.

Ship tip

Be prepared to be overwhelmed by so many children, even though you know, you don’t really know until you go. So visit the adult sections whenever possible

This port was ok we walked around and shopped a little bit.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

Didn’t do any excursions, but the island was very nice very nicely decorated. You could buy a lot of merch. The beach had a lot of chairs, but you gotta get there early because it took us forever to find chairs. They have lifeguards on duty and my grandson loved it. We were in the water he loved it, the day we were there it rained for half the day so everybody like I guess went back on the ship so for our last day, they surprised the whole ship and went back to the island. The Captain said because our day was half our day was rained out was a nice surprise.

I forgot to mention that it was really nice of them to return to Castaway Cay since you were all only able to spend a half day there originally due to the weather! So nice of Disney!

Thank you for sharing your review! I’m sailing on the Wish in three weeks and have heard other people say similar things about Marceline Market. I think I’m going to pass on Marceline Market in favor of Festival of Foods whenever possible because I have heard most of the food in the Festival of Foods section is good. Good to know about the adult/teen activities! My daughter is 4 y/o, so I anticipate she’ll have a good time, but I am glad we bought the beer mug package for my husband. He can go watch all of the football games that weekend in the bars while enjoying a regular beer. Thank you!
