Disney Wish was not ready for primetime and certainly not up to the standards of a Disney Cruise. Lines everywhere, many features broken or not available, service was terrible, food was some of the worst I have had anywhere. We even had to wait nearly an hour just to buy souvenirs in the shop. It was one big cattle call and we did not feel like guests but another number.
Embarkation

The port experience was fine. Not overly crowded, organized and fairly seamless.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
The food was terrible, inedible and made several of us sick. 1923 was plain and boring, Worlds of Marvel had the worst food two nights in a row and Arrendale was decent, but loud with tables on top of each other. We stood in line to get in for 20-30 minutes each night. Service was uneven. Standing room only for breakfast during day at sea.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
More, but smaller pools that are basically unusable. Lines for everything including the extra eating spaces. The Aquamouse was constantly down or had long wait times. Uncharted (onboard interactive app) was not ready. Hero Zone was just empty most days. Many interactive features were down or not working in the Oceaneer club. Fitness center was decent. Onboard app required for everything (no paper navigator), but often encountered errors or downtime.
Entertainment
1 out of 5
Aladdin was cancelled. No shows for two days and then Little Mermaid was not a good show. Rushed, minimal props and staging (all digital projection) and could not hear speaking or singing because of music volume. Also could not follow plot. Just a bad show. Hyperspace lounge had errors in booking for the first night and then was sold out the next day. We actually were able to walk in on a port day and found the service inattentive, the space just OK (a digital screen on a loop) and the drinks horrible and overpriced.
Children's Programs

The spaces were nice and our ten year old was excited to go to the club but quickly returned and refused to go back as "everything was broken". Our teen went to Hero Zone several times and there was nothing in the space (basketball hoops up and nothing going on).
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
Maybe 3 folks had that Disney service. The rest were curt, busy, unavailable and unprepared. Heard 70% of the crew was new and had limited test sailings. What staff was down a man two of the four nights. Had a question for guest services and was forced to make an appointment just to ask it. Calling guest services from the stateroom was often 15+ minutes wait. Very little info available for ship personnel. Dining room staff constantly pushing past guests. We felt like cattle.
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
Terrible flow. Dead ends, confusing floor and elevator layout. No mid ship elevators and touchy elevator buttons. Adult area dead ends. Doors to deck were solid, not glass so hard to figure out how to get out/in. We have sailed 4 other times on Fantasy and Magic and the flow and decor are great. This did not look and feel like a Disney ship. The theaters were dirty with food on the floor. Several fixtures and railings were broken on the third sailing!
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was best part of the cruise. Nice upgrade to bathrooms and same look and feel as other ships. No complaints here except for room staff were like the rest of ship. Curt and not very helpful. Cleaning carts were constantly in the halls day and night making it hard to get by.
Ship tip
Sail on another ship. Not worth the Disney price for a non-Disney experience, and especially not the increased prices they are charging or a new ship. Give it a year or so, but there are some things even time is not going to fix.
Thanks for the Honest Review. Bright Sun Films on YouTube said many of the same things. I'm surprised that Disney didn't go in another direction with a Brand New Ship. And copy some of other Cruise Lines innovations...
