We enjoyed the cruise, the ship and the staff. We would recommend the Disney Wish, especially for Disney fans.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Can’t really complain. Pretty organized as is usually the case for Disney. Better now that COVID testing done before embarkation day. Had to throw 4 bottles of water out, probably because it could be way of getting liquor on board so be aware. They also take many items and hold them till you get back, like power cords, irons, etc. Read the prohibited list before you come. But at least you get those back.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We really enjoyed the new offerings in the quick service areas, like BBQ, taco’s,etc. Even the staples, like burgers and pizza we felt were better on this ship. Buffet was good but not outstanding. Food in the MDR ‘s was ok, Golden Coral quality, but again nothing out of the ordinary. You’ll have to pay extra in Palo’s or Enchante if you want something memorable, but they were booked before we could even get a reservation. We did enjoy the enhanced entertainment in Aerendelles and World of Marvels. And of course, the service was outstanding!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Lots to do, especially for kids. We didn’t try the new water ride, but heard from other guests it was good, just not worth a wait of more than 30 minutes. Fireworks pirate parlay party was a blast!
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The shows were good, although they caught through some technical difficulties in our second show, little mermaid.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
As always with Disney, top notch service!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Took us awhile but we figured it out. Getting to the top decks sometimes required getting on two elevators so watch which floors they go to.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Seemed a little smaller to us and not as much storage. Loved the glass door on the full tub. Nice decor. Room steward Ana was excellent.
