We were rerouted to Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Jamaica due to hurricane. We were perfectly happy with this, but frustrated with the rebooking of shore excursions as the app wasn’t working. We encountered several closures of the slide that weren’t listed or posted which did ultimately affect our cruise plans. The regular “change of process” was quite frustrating. We were very happy with the shore excursions at all of the islands. We did enjoy the relaxing day at castaway Cay. Overall the cruise was “ok”.
Embarkation

The online checkin and shore excursion booking causes so much unneeded stress. Staying up past midnight to try and book shore excursions, get onboard experiences and a boarding time.
The safe passage process was a pain, and they didn’t approve the kids testing until the last hour before boarding.
We knew we should not go into the port until our timed arrival, but telling us we couldn’t park until 15 minutes before is crazy! What about those people that had to test at the port?
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The dining staff and rotational dining were good. The servers were great!
The reduced stars were due to the alternative options at Flo’s V8. This was the only place to eat at “off hours” or room service.
We did like the regularly available soda, water and coffee at the lido. Consider putting stations in the atrium/ theater areas too.
There are no specialty restaurants where kids are allowed.

Entertainment

The stage shows were great! Don’t miss Aladdin, Frozen or Believe! The magician was really good as well. This is where Disney excels!
The pirate show with fireworks was very entertaining.
Even the sail away and Mousequarade parties were fun for all ages.

Service was ok to good, but not Disney Magical!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was very clean and very well maintained, but the general design of the ship was quite choppy on the inside.
Cabin / Stateroom

Size was average for a family balcony, but we usually travel in a suite on other lines so felt small to us.
Daughter woke with bug bites. Reported to guest services. They scheduled us with the dr and called housekeeping. Nurse looked at her and first tried to blame debarkation port noseeums. We suspected ant or spider bites. She said if we needed to see dr it would be $160, - that was not a very good answer when they clearly came from your bed. We had our own allergy med and cortisone ointment. We had no further issues with this, and we’re followed up by an officer and “guest services gift”.
Ship tip
The app does not get updated with closures or changes. Alerts don’t work properly. They change a lot of processes and insert “rules” as they see fit. This was the most frustrating thing about our vacation. Makes it VERY difficult to plan accordingly.
