People need to do some research. Check k the CDC for virus on hotels and you will never go on vacation. Sorry this happened but I don't think Disney will cover it up. You have to sign a form that says you are not sick before you get in.

I find it hard to believe that Disney is forcing people to sign paperwork stating that they wont discuss being sick. Cruise ships are mandatory reporters to the CDC concerning any norovirus outbreaks over 3% of the ship’s population. Withholding information about an outbreak would be a HUGE deal. For the record, the last SERIOUS (as listed as the CDC to be serious) was in 2016 on the Wonder. It was an event that prompted new protocol for food handling promoting big time change for the line. Norovirus outbreaks can happen on any ship (even Cunard has had it). Sometimes it is the crew’s fault but often it’s people either being contaminated prior to boarding or being lackadaisical about hygiene. Disney ships continue to be highly ranked on the Green Sheets proving a commitment to quality and responsibility to their guests. Sorry your dinner service wasnt up to par. We’ve been on 4 DCL cruises and have enjoyed our meals and have always had excellent service.

The virus was confirmed. There were quite a few incidents on board but signed agreement with Disney to not discuss.

Hmmm I have sailed Disney quite a few times, never ever been disappointed, sorry you had a bad experience and as far as Norovirus? What exactly happened?

I've been o, 6 Disney cruises and find that a bit odd.... Be very careful throwing out the norvo virus unless you can confirm it. Each cruise line and Disney ask you to fill out a sheet asking if your sick. If you lie on it and cause a outbreak on the ship they will figure out who caused it and hold them responsible. Far as Disney I tell each person that if they don't like the Disney theme parks then don't of on Disney but go on Royal,Carnival or others. Yes I have been on 3 Royal and I love there ports and value but Disney is a class of its own. Granted I may not like Norwegian because I've heard its to for people under 30 or kids...

I’ve never been on a Disney Cruise, but all I’ve ever heard is people rave about them.

I’ve always felt the Disney cruises were overpriced, but most things Disney are. As far as Norovirus, I’m not sure any cruise line makes an announcement. I have seen them add additional people at the dining entrances with hand sanitizer and clean the handrails, elevator buttons, etc. more often and assumed some had gotten sick. Washing your hands well and often should be standard practice on a cruise (or anywhere) to reduce the chance of illness.
