Review summary

Including Seattle as part of our trip was a definite plus, scenery is beautiful. When four cruise ships are going to ports at the same time, scared most sea life away. End of May lucked out with beautfiul days. Was told more wildlife would be seen when the salmon started running end of June/July. The aurora borealis is best viewed the last two weeks of September.

Embarkation

Ok still not seamless, despite the Medallion.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Definitely star nights such as the Beef Wellington, escargot, and at a different venue almond croissant.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The Rock Opera was excellent and what talent! Great chorography. Daily activities so, so. Crafts were shuttled to a restaurant that did not allow for that many participants. The beautiful auditorium has small seats. Very uncomfortable.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Performances were great.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Servers could not be more accomodating. The stewart always had our room cleaned and ready in record time.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very nice decor, always clean. One detractor, plastic plants and flowers and they looked plastic.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Smallest balcony cabin in any cruise line so far. I've been on NCL, Holland, and Carnival. I went with a friend, not a sweetie and our beds were 18 inches apart. No room to lounge on the balcony. Two chairs barely fit on it.

Ship tip

Go with a mini-suite or a different ship/cruiseline if you like lounging on your balcony.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Would have given it 5, but after being dismissed from our lounge area, people in the baggage area were ill informed. Told us we needed to look for our luggage, which we did not, since we had purchased Princess transfers.
