Review summary

Beautiful ship and mostly competent crew. Prefer the smaller ships with an outdoor promenade deck and Skywalker’s nightclub.

Those who are Elite Captains Circle guests could go from car to piazza in about 25 minutes. Very smooth process.

Food and Dining

Quality was good. Selection was somewhat spotty. At least twice we ordered ice water and were blown off by our drink steward.

Service and Staff

It feels like Princess is trying to wean their guests away from expecting customary table service and more toward ordering drinks only from the Medallion app. Regrettably, some of the pleasure of interacting with the crew is lost in this process.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a deluxe balcony (D723) and it was wonderful. Plenty of room, privacy, large table; everything you want in a balcony.

Ship tip

Avoid photographers camped nightly in front of mid-ship elevators.
