Embarkation

1 out of 5
Embarkation in Singapore was pure chaos. No blue line, no green line, no line at all really. Just a huge mass of thousands of people. Port staff were screaming at passengers and passengers were screaming at port staff. Lot of pushing and people rushing to the front of the mass. No signage to assist. No guidance from anybody. Terrible way to kick off a cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All of the food was great. Some nights it took a while in the dining rooms, and one the night the buffet was fairly bland but other than that no complaints. Prego Pizza and the burger place are fast and delicious.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools were nice but there was no rule enforcement. One large “gang” of hoodlums would regularly take over the outdoor. Running, diving, screaming, all of the things the signs say to not do put staff did nothing. Luckily there were are a plethora of pools to choose from. Other events were fun. Some were unorganized but over all well done.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Magic show was great. Port briefs were detailed and helpful. Live music was always amazing.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Guest services quickly addressed all issues. Room attendant was unbelievably awesome!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Overall impressed for age of the ship. Very clean and in good condition. Our rooms (B109 and B115) did not have glass as the balcony barrier. Metal instead which isn’t a big deal but limited your view when looking outside. All rooms aft of our rooms had the glass barrier.

Cabin / Stateroom

Good size for 2 people. Any more and it would definitely be crowded. Balcony barrier (deck railing) was metal (not glass as shown in pictures) so view was limited from inside. B109/B115 were metal, everything aft of that had the glass railing. Nice view off the port side, and forward over the bow. Balcony is directly underneath the bridge wing and view is partially obstructed by the support but it’s not that bad. Plenty of storage in closet area and under the bed. Small refrigerator. Tap water was good to drink but not cold. No other complaints. Room was nice, clean, and in great condition. Edwin was our Guy and he was AMAZING!!!!

Ship tip

Rooms midship had much less movement.
