Review summary

ship decor is dated, beds are extremely uncomfortable. The service was not good. Entertainment was average, with the exception of the comedian and the piano player who were both excellent.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Ship gets all supplies at the begninning of 14 day journey\, so by the 12th day fruits were not looking so good (or tasting good either). Waiters in main dining halls had no idea what was good on the menu\, so can't trust their recommendations. They are actually not supposed to taste the food\, so they cannot recommend anything. Most nights\, we were not advised of any specials (which they had nightly).

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Ubur Rossi was fantastic. So was the piano player at the bar. Other than that most entertainment was average. Zumba instructor should not be teaching\, she needs to learn how to lead a class. Lotus spa was nice\, but they really try to sell products!!!

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship was clean. It was hard to get from one end of ship to the other without going up and down stairs. Decor was dated. Few areas to sit down outside of bar areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
very uncomfortable beds - we had back pain the entire trip. Lousy pillows. There was plenty of storage (which was great). TV only showed Princess programming\, which means we did not get to enjoy any current events (like olympics)

Pros: Dinner with the Chef

Cons: Service on cruise

Recommends Diamond Princess? No.
