Review summary

This is the first time we had taken Princess (usually NCL and Royal Caribbean). Overall, we liked the ship and company. It is a step up from the rest. I could list the factors we liked and did not like, but there were a few of both. I think this line is best for mid-aged travelers and older travelers. There are still a lot of traditional cruising items here (like first and second seating dining). But, there is also a lot of quality in the ship's decorum (fancy). Like I mentioned above...cruising is like dessert. Even okay desserts are still great! ;)

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Entertainment

The best thing was the movies under the stars! Wonderful!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff were good. But, we were really surprised with the LGBT meetings that the cruise director sponsored (with a staff member attending in every instance). This was a great touch and made our cruise special

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship was only okay. There seems to be a lot of shaking (more than most ships of I have been on) over this ship's engines.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a mini-suite. The restoom is small, but the rest of the room was great. Nice flat screen TV's!

Pros: Most of the staff, the itinerary, the decorum of the ship, the cruise director staff, movies under the stars

Cons: The engine rumble/shaking
