Review summary

With costa you will need to time your free water and coffee and tea with meals pay your daily gratuities and be early on a sea day to get a sun bed europeans like to reserve for the day 🙄 no matter if the use or not and costa have no policy discouraging this, there is no waiter service around the pool deck and food can be same same.. they cater for Italian passengers first ..late night life, fixed dining time at the restaurant, mix of European nationality’s, except this and you will enjoy ..staff are great mostly Filipino or Indian as per..

Costa don’t get the best rap In the industry, but we actually had a fantastic time everything was up to standard weighing up price, itinerary no complaint 😁

Not exactly user friendly limited information, if you don’t book a tour, tender to male town shopping off to right, or recommend walk to left until you get to the public ferry terminal you can buy a return ferry ride to crossroads $22.50 usd they have a Hard Rock Cafe you can use the small beach or plenty of little shops ministry of crab restaurant, Sai resort and a pool day entry fees or visitor centre a nice day out not too expensive.. or take a bus ride to hulhumale won’t take very long passes airport has a beach and shops..

Colombo, Sri Lanka

Our waiter was a local he recommended Bogmalo beach 🏖 you will defiantly need a taxi to drive you and wait so bit of haggling required. The beach was lovely nice eatery’s cold beer and a few shops nice day.

They are building a new terminal building, the port gate was a bit hard to find as could not actually see the ship, a bus was provided from gate no help with getting baggage on board the bus 🚌 some taxi where allowed into port otherwise plenty outside of the gate.

Great, though I'm sad to say my experience wasn't as great. When I went on the ship years ago, smoking was allowed everywhere. Non-smokers like me were forced to go to our cabins if we wanted to breathe clean air.
