Review summary

i booked and paid a cruise for me and my girlfriend, because was promoted online with NO VISA NEEDED, the cruise app doasnt work in USA, when we arrived to Dominican republic , they let us go inside the imbarkation building , then the Costa workers load our luggaged on the ship but at custom border office , they ask us for a visa. No assistance from Costa, we explain the problem and they told us , was our problem.i paid and left without sail .There are lots of better cruise company in USA.

Badmouthing a cruise because you didn't have the proper documents.... A minimum of due diligence is required on your part before booking..

Since you did sail, why complete a review?

Travel requirements have an expiration date. Things change. Even if the promise you got months ago was accurate at the time, if things change, it is on you to keep up. The State Department of any sovereign nation really doesn't care about old promises, only current policy.

Every cruiser must do their own due diligence on visa or passport issues. You did not. Relying on someone else's word regarding travel documentation was poor judgment on your part. Sorry you had to learn the hard way.
