I would recommend the SHIP but I cannot give a recommendation for a cruise for anyone who is a non-smoker. We asked specifically before booking our cruise if there were designated smoking and non-smoking areas and we were assured that there definitely were. In fact, smoking is on one side of a room and non-smoking is on the other but there are no walls or barriers and the smoke is everywhere. ALSO, in the theatre there isn't supposed to be any smoking and yet they set out ashtrays and the room was foggy with smoke.
Food and Dining

Not very flavorful for the most part. Some items were tasty but because of the available (suggested) number of courses the portions were very small. We would have loved more fresh fruit options. They chef in the New York restaurant was very good about making our table a special dessert when we requested it.

We were unable to attend most entertainment and activities due to the presence of heavy smoke. My husband enjoyed the juggling and the gymnastics performances and thought they were quite spectacular.
The singing performances were not what he considered good or professional quality.
Service and Staff

Our steward was the best we could imagine! Also, Dominique, our English speaking host was excellent and very well informed. Dominique always had clear, understandable information for us and was happy to answer questions or work to make our experience more enjoyable. I can't give a positive comment about our waiter in the New York restaurant, he was terrible. We were offered a different waiter, which we appreciated.

The ship is brand new and very nice. Heat in the hot tubs would be a nice addition as well as availibility on the ship to daily food and personal items for sale in the store.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had the BEST steward, Erwin. When we were suffering from sea sickness and could not get crackers ANYWHERE on the ship, he gave us his own. He really cared how we were and if we were enjoying our cruise. That made a hugely favorable impression on us.Also, he kept our room spotless and was always helpful! The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the rooms are well lit. The closets were spacious enough and laid out well.
