It's better not to exchange money immediately at the port, very poor rate. You will get better rate 500 meters away.

You can only take taxi or shuttle bus to Bangkok or Pattaya, 2 hour for the first and 40 minutes for the later. Grab (like uber ) is not allowed to enter the entrance for picking up.
