Review summary
The bar on 5th level was just below our suite. Could not sleep until it closed at 1:00 A.M. Bar should be located in another part of ship or close at 10:00 p.m. The other problem was this was to be a no smoking cruise or at least area....there was so much cigarette smoke in the hallway, it seeped into our room not to mention trying to leave/return to our room. I can't say enough nice things about our steward. He was fun, made great towel animals and kept everything neat. The food was wonderful as well.Ship experiences

Pros: The staff and convenience when in port.
Cons: The people who smoked in no smoking & the bar on the floor below our suite.

Smoking is a big problem on ships. Passengers do not observe the no smoking areas and some still smoke in their rooms. Forget about the public areas near the casinos.

Hi Red, I am due to sail on the Costa Diadema in June, I have read some reviews regarding drinks that have to be paid for, including water, but see that you experienced unlimited cocktails! Did you purchase an all inclusive package?
