Review summary

Had a great time on this 4 day cruise on Coral Princess. Everything went really well and can't wait to cruise again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Super easy and very quick. Went to drop our bags off early but were told we could board straight away. About 15 mins from walking into terminal to boarding the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was pretty good. We ate in the main dining room every night and most breakfasts. Some meals were a little over cooked. Lots of cocktails to choose from.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Didn't attend any activities. There weren't that many scheduled on our cruise. We only had one sea day which may have contributed to this.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The evening entertainment was fantastic. From the production shows to guest entertainers we had something to attention every night. Also enjoyed the piano bar for some lively entertainment.

Princess Theater

5 out of 5

We sat near the side and had a great view of stage each time we attended.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff we encountered were very courteous, friendly and informative.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The coral princess had a good layout, was very clean and well maintained. Lots of different areas to sit and have a drink or read a book. The promenade deck went all the way round the ship so were able to fo a few laps to work off some of those calories.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Great cabin, very clean and tidy. Heaps of storage. Bathroom was very tight and a bit smaller than other ships we have been on for the same or similar category of stateroom.

Ports of call

Sydney, Australia

5 out of 5
Sydney harbour is one of the best I have seen. Great place for sail away.

Eden, Australia

4 out of 5
Lovely little fishing town. Visited the whale museum. It was interesting to hear about the history of whaling in the area. Walked around and took in the beautiful coastal views.

Newcastle, Australia

4 out of 5
Was very surprised at how nice Newcastle was. Beach is close to the CBD. Went to Fort Scratchley and Christ Church Cathedral. Can be a bit chilly if you are exploring on foot.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We chose to walk off with our bags. The time slot we were given worked well for us and we were directed straight off as soon as we got to our waiting area. As this was a domestic cruise the process was very quick, about 5 to 10 minutes from leaving our cabin to being dock side.
