Review summary

We sailed on the Zenith on April 22. The overall friendliness and cooperation of all staff was wonderful. Cruising is our favorite way to vacation. There were plenty of areas to relax in and have a cocktail. Entertainment was very good and plenty to do during the day.

The food was acceptible. Didn't feel the quality and presentation was more then average. The 8:30 dining time seemed to be just a little later then most ships we've been on. Here again staff was wonderful and extremely helpful when requesting a special meal.

Loved the staff. Everyone you met went out of their way to help and they were extremely friendly. It's nice to walk a hall or public space and have everyone meet with you a smile and friendly greeting.

Ship Quality

Layout was very good. Public space was more then adequate, however some areas are very tired and need refurbishing. Ship is kept clean and accessibility to all public space was extremely easy.

Cabin / Stateroom

Stateroom size was very comfortable. Normally we get a room with a balcony - since we booked late and the Zenith does not have balconies - we wound up in an inside room. The room (6064) was a good size. Mattress was not good - bedding could improve. Here again. the room along with the rest of ship could use a redo.
