Review summary

The ship and it's crew were absolutely fantastic...hospitable, clean and efficient.

Strongly suggest purchasing the additional 4 restaurant package as the specialty restaurants are absolutely wonderful. Best of any cruise we've ever enjoyed.

Overall, we had a very relaxing time aboard this ship, however if you are going to bring children this is clearly not the cruise for them. (We did not)  We were a little bored by about day five but managed just fine.

Overall, loved it. The crew, from officers to stewards make you feel welcome every minute that you are onboard and clearly reflect a positive attitude toward their careers in hospitality.

The setup of the balcony cabin is pretty standard with a couple perks in this particular location. 1) It's a little bigger than balcony rooms of both Royal and Carnival, with more "cleverly designed" storage areas for clothes. Plenty of room overall. 2) This particular room, 2151 has a slightly larger balcony than others of the same class due to a slightly "angled" portion due to it being an end room unit. This was cool because there was a little more room to "stretch out" on the balcony while at sea. 3) Although there were some complaints we read in earlier reviews due to noise from above we really had no experience with it and the location on this floor puts you on the same floor as both the pools and the gym...two of the main features we love about cruising. 4) One little hint: Bring a power strip as there are only 2 110v outlets...one in the ceiling in the bathroom and one on the desk area.

Ship tip

Upgrade to the 4 restaurant package if you can..you won't regret it! We found that all of the restaurants were as good as some of the best restaurants on land, and overall the food quality aboard celebrity is certainly a step above other comparable cruise lines.
