They very rarely offer discounted prices for the drink package. It'll be the same price onboard.

Ridiculously expensive drinks package (even on board). I wouldn’t want/couldn’t manage to drink the quantity of alcohol needed to make it good value. Plus you will still need to pay for a bottle of wine on top of the package price if you want a nice bottle of wine with dinner. Remember, unless you have a doctor’s letter that certifies that one person in the stateroom is a non-drinker then both need to pay for a package!
