Review summary

The ship itself: beautiful, practical, and great quiet cabin.

The staff: absolutely the best.  Waiters in standard dining room BETTER than first class on Cunard.

Problem areas to resolve:

1. Internet:    on prior cruises, I enjoyed the high speed.  This was not only too expensive, but way too slow, almost at dial up rates.    Shameful!

2. Getting off the boat:  a nightmare.  Miami logistics need help desperately, this is the second time I've been through this, and 75 minutes on line is too long.

3. Entertainment: dreadful.  Come on, its time for a serious upgrade.  Directors should be replaced, and talent upgraded.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
outstanding in main dining room. specialty restaurants disappointing and not worth the extra.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
not much to do really, especially for the 7 nights at sea.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
terrible, dated, over-miked (deafening) and in big need of improvement.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
outstanding in every way. spotless, good design, dead quiet, great views. I loved it. Bravo. Huge success here. Better than their suites for much less cost.

Ship tip

1. Be sure you know what room you are getting. Suites directly under the dining room are not worth it as they are view obstructed and very noisy all night long. Sunset view balcony terrific and highly recommended. 2. Bring your own entertainment - i'd download movies before arrival on IPAD.
