Review summary

The Reflection is a beautiful ship, tastefully designed and decorated.  Our main dining room experience at 6 pm each night was the highlight of our day on board with two wonderful waiters who catered to our every wish.  They went over and above.  Our cabins were well taken care of by our room stewards, and every request was met cheerfully and efficiently.  The entertainment was not as good as we have come to expect on other ships, but the Christmas celebrations and shows were very good.  We enjoyed the shore excursions and non-smoking casino.

We would have liked to have a few more family activities like trivial pursuit, team games, etc., on sea days.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our only obstruction in cabin 6204 was the roof of a life boat which was exactly even with the floor of our balcony, as I had been told. We could sit on the balcony and have a clear view of the ocean. Our daughter had a wide open view of the ocean between life boats, but our son had a huge orange lifeboat in the middle of his view, and had to change cabins. All three cabins were supposed to be the same classification, but our son's cabin was clearly a lower classification. Be careful!! The cabins were roomy and well maintained with adequate closet and storage space.

Ship tip

Cabin 6204 was in a perfect location, just a few cabins from the elevator lobby, and very close to the dining room, buffet, and center of ship. The ship design made it much easier to get around in than other ships we've been on.
