Review summary

The ship was very clean, the room attendants and food servers very anxious to please. The nightly entertainment was good but it would have been nice to have more movies available. We had a selection of two movies. One day there was an R rated movie and the day at sea there was a children's movie. These did not meet our needs. In Victoria, we took the tour that had tea at Bouchart Gardens. Tea was served at 11 a.m. which gave us one hour to tour the gardens. This isn't enough time to see all of the gardens let alone go into the gift shop. Had we known, we could have taken the Bouchart Gardens tour and then gone to the Empress Hotel for tea in the afternoon. Or better yet, had a free tea on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The quality of the food was good but not enough selection. There was a breakfast buffet but no dinner buffet. You have assigned seating (which I prefer) or need reservations at the other dining room.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
A variety of movies and more daytime entertainment was needed.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff were friendly and spoke when you saw them about the ship.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
We had a balcony, The rain prevented us from sitting out very often but really enjoyed the view the glass door provided.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room had a lot of storage space. This room had two clothes clothes with ample number of hangers.

Pros: The people we met

Cons: not enough food selection
