This was a bucket list trip and it took a long time to get there and it was quite pricey. My expectations were high, and we were sadly disappointed.

Food and Dining

Not just bland, but flavorless. The food lacked anything close to taste. Guessing they catered to people who cannot eat any salt, fat, spices, herbs, or seasonings. Surprisingly, this included such food as cheese, which literally had no flavor. If we closed our eyes and chewed we could not guess what we were eating. One night ordered rib eye steak and we could barely saw through it with a steak knife and then could not chew it if we managed to. Disappointing to say the least.
Onboard Activities

Nothing expected onboard, but the tour itinerary to see the Galapagos was mediocre. Did not meet expectations. Saw LOTS of sea lions, which we have in abundance in the US, and the remaining fauna was of limited variety.
Itinerary changed and we went to Santa Cruz Island instead. Long walk and saw very little. One land iguana and a handful of pink flamingos. Pretty beach.
