It lives up to the hype. Mom and I went on this bucket-list trip and are we ever glad we splurged to take it on the Flora. The remoteness of the islands and the magical innocence of the animals - who have no fear of humans, thanks to the consistent and rigorous restrictions on visitors - make for a fantastic week of "Wow" moments. Great to have such camaraderie with the other passengers, since we share such a common interest.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Easy by tender and the only embarkation experience I've had where there were sea lions nearby!

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Food was varied and delicious... high end buffets for breakfast and lunch, dinner was always by menu. Lots of local fresh fish and shrimp. One of the best parts? the actual handwashing stations at the entrance to the dining room - - super smart!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
All excursions are included, as are wet suits and snorkel equipment. Two excursions a day to coincide with the 2 island stops that were made daily, one in am and one later in the afternoon. All small groups (12 or fewer) with on-board naturalists.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
First ship experience ever where senior officers were not only visible, but hands-on engaged with daily activities (tender send-offs and arrivals, for example). ALL crew is enthusiastic to make this trip live up to the once-in-a-lifetime description.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Gorgeous ship with so much room! We and others commented that it was never crowded, anywhere. And that includes the evening excursion overviews for all passengers, for the following days events. Style was "Galapagos chic" in the best way imaginable.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had regular balcony suite, and loved the layout and "traditional" balcony setup. For us 2 there was plenty of room.
Ship tip
Go on every excursion, each showcases a different part of this wonderful destination.
I share your sentiment regarding the Flora and the Galapagos Islands. We did this trip a couple of years ago and it remains one of our fondest memories.
