Review summary

I chose this cruise because of the timing of the cruise, the itinerary and because it was sailing from the US. I had never sailed on the Equinox before, and it was a great ship! I hope to sail on the Equinox again in November over Thanksgiving break! The crew were amazing. The bartenders at The Martini Bar never disappoint with their flair bartending antics! They always remember your name and what you drink! Shout out to Agung, Bagus, Jamu, Hyoman and Komang at the Sky Bar and Mast Bar! What made this cruise truly special was that we met the nicest group of people on this cruise! I hope to keep in touch and hopefully cruise with them again! The weather was great throughout the cruise. The only unfortunate event was on the last day of the cruise when someone in my traveling party was asymptomatic but still tested positive for Covid. Anyone in close contact with him was isolated and tested until their tests came back negative.

The buffet was great. Lots of good options. I loved the Indian food served at the Oceanview Cafe! The MDR menu didn’t disappoint either. Great service from Kanya and Marco! Le Petit Chef at Qsine was a hit with adults and children alike. The food was delicious and the animated show was entertaining!

Martini Bar & Crush

Hands down my favorite place to go before and after dinner! The bartenders, Agung, Jamu, Bagus and Hyoman were great! Not only do they remember your name and drink, but they entertain you with their flair style of bartending!

Le Petit Chef at Qsine

Great food and fun animation between courses made this venue a hit! The service was exceptional!

Mast Grill and Bar

5 out of 5

Great place to sit and have a seeing while watching officers vs guests play pool volleyball!Bartenders Bagus and Komang were great!Love the option of grabbing a hot dog or burger at the Mast Grill! Great service!

Onboard Activities

I enjoyed the pool and trivia games in the Sky Lounge. I only wish Bingo was also offered on this cruise.

Service and Staff

The waiters in all venues were very attentive and polite. My room steward, Ramachand was amazing. He always greeted me by name and seemed to know my routine and serviced the room when he knew I was gone.

Thank you for this review. We just booked the Equunox for our 40th anniversary July 2022. I didn't realize they have the lePetite chef. We will definitely book that.
