This was our eighth cruise on The Equinox. It is our favorite ship in the Celebrity Cruise family. We are looking forward to our next cruise in March when we will have a suite and be able to use the new Retreat areas. That is where most of the renovation has occurred.

We ate in Blu, which always provides excellent menu choices and service.
Onboard Activities

Enjoyed the many free fitness classes and also took a Pilates class which was worthwhile. The musical entertainment at the pool and bars was better than usual. Silent Disco was a blast!
Entertainment

The dance, vocal, and acrobatic acts were better than usual. The first comedian was lame, but Phil Tag performed later on the cruise and he was somewhat better.

Everyone was friendly and responsive.
Ship Quality

Apparently the refurbishing was cut short by two weeks, so the ship didn’t look much different than when we last sailed in November. The bathrooms were clean, but the pool area could have used more attention.
Cabin / Stateroom

The curtains, bed, bedding, carpet and couch were new. The art that was in every room was the same and it is not attractive.
Ship tip
Try the drinks at the World Class Bar; you won’t regret it.
