Review summary

Celebrity was the first line we initially cruised on years ago. Advertised as "gourmet" dining, it lived up to its name. Todays food pales in comparison, especially the buffet dining. Excursions were overpriced and emphasized the poverty of the countries.The cruises that followed were to the Southern and Eastern Caribbean on other lines, which we enjoyed immensely. Future cruising would be to the Southern Caribbean.

My first cruise was with Celebrity Legend out of Tampa. During the cruise the ship was being re renovated for sale. A side from that, which was just a little inconvenient, the cruise was fantastic. The food was delicious, entertainment was out standing and the ports were memorable adventures for me. Since I have been on many different cruise lines. In Dec 2015 I will be back on board a Celebrity cruise ship, the Equinox. I am looking forward to a relaxing cruise and island adventures. I have been to all the up coming ports many times. But there is always a new adventure waiting. I am taking my mom who turned 90 in February. She needs to go back to work, we call the casino her office. :-) She says, she'll never retire. What ever keeps her young and happy, that's the key to living long. :-)
