Review summary

Nice cruise; great ports of call. One exception was Venice. Spending only the afternoon, evening and the next morning there really made experienceing the sights difficult. Too many shuttle trips!  I would have rather spent one whole day there. Paying $50 a couple for a shuttle ride into the city was not only unexpected, but irritating as well. With over 18 cruises under our belts, mostly with Celebrity, RCC, and Azamara we have come to expect better with this line.

Be sure to visit St. Paul de Vent and Eze in Villefrance...may have been the best of all. Pompeii, Sorrento and Capris is a lot to tackle in one day...too much time on the hydrofoil to and from Capris. Be sure to book your tickets to the Vatican, Sisteen Chapel and the Colluseum before you go. 30,000 people/day visit there. Pisa is uneventful; Florence and the Academia museum is worth the trip.
