Another positive experience on Celebrity cruises! The food, staff, and accommodations (aft balcony) were remarkable.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
This was the 2nd leg of a back to back. The Celebrity system went down and created a headache for processing our new sea passes but it was handled with grace.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Superb food in the main dining rooms and buffet. The fruit did drop off in quality on this leg of our cruise which was weird since Hawaii is known to have excellent fruit especially pineapple, but the pineapple and other fresh fruits were far superior on the leg before leaving out of Sydney, Australia.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Always something going on to keep people entertained. The Hawaiian specific activity were especially nice. The gym is well laid out with good equipment.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The Hawaiian specific entertainment was especially nice. The musicians were fantastic. The music played in the buffet was a bad mixture of popular songs and unknown random nonsense.
Children's Programs
We do not have children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone of the crew were especially friendly, helpful, and eager to put the guest's experience first.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Sophisticated feel and ambience. We loved everything about this ship because we had an aft regular balcony instead of an infinite verandah.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Super large balcony, great bathroom layout with comfortably sized shower, a true king size bed with a decent mattress (could have been a bit softer though). The sofa was stained and needed a good deep steam clean, but otherwise the cabin was perfection!
Ship tip
The soft serve ice cream is by far the best of all the lines we have cruised.
Rent a car and go to the Southern Most Point, the Green sand beach and the black sand beach! They are all fantastic and it is easy to drive on the island.
Take the time and visit Stanley Park. It is an incredible outdoor experience. Spend the money and do the narrated horse drawn carriage tour of the park. It is very worth while.
Hi 👋 I was on the same cruise and also thought it was fantastic all the way around. Food, service, even entertainment (did you see Will Martin??) was TOP notch! Looking forward to another Edge class trip soon, but first will be Norway/Scotland on HAL🥳
