Review summary

I went on this cruise not for the ports of call, but for the ship as I heard do much about it. Well the ship was unbelievable. The theater was high tech and the other venues were do inviting. I was on Deck 3 AFT was so very happy with the location and the cabin itself. What a great cruise it was!

Embarkation

It was unbelievable. It took no time at all. No lines, no wait.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I had dinner each night in one of the four main dining rooms. I like the variety of going to a different restaurant every night. When I cruise I enjoy sharing a table for dinner. In changing restaurants every night this couldn't happen. I found out on the next to the last night, you had to ask the share a table. I know for the next time. I have traveled on Celebrity many times and the food is excellent always.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I was at the pool, enjoyed watching the people participate. Trivia games were great. The fitness center was great as well.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
I know in pass reviews for the Edge people said the shows were great. I thought they were okay. The comediennes were excellent and so was the group that did the Four Seasons songs.

Children's Programs

I don't have children

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It was easy to navigate the ship. At every elevator bank, there was a list of each deck and an overall list of each deck of the ship. Ship was clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Excellent. Plenty of storage space. The bathroom was bigger and I lived having the electrical outlet there as well. I also thought it was a great idea to put the USB charging ports along with the electrical box on the dresser. Cabin was clean always.

Ports of call

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

What excursion in Tortola did you go on?

I ask for a shared table every meal in the four dinning rooms and found that most of the time a wait was involved. I had reservations each night but that was for 2 person table not shared table. I cruise solo so sharing a table is a way to meet people. One night the hostess checked with the other dinning rooms to see if a shared table was available, since it would have been a 45 min wait in the Cyprus where I had reservations. She found one with no wait.

Thanks for sharing. We leave in 19 days and also chose this cruise for the ship and not the itinerary.
